FAQ

Do you sell your artwork as NFTs?

I do not sell my work as NFTs. I only sell physical artwork at this time.

Do you accept commissions?

I'm currently not accepting commissions. At this point in my journey, I'm building my practice around following my own inner intuition, so it's important to me that I pick the subjects that I paint and the style in which I paint them. Hopefully one or more of my pieces will appeal to you!

However, I may be open to a shared exploration in some cases. If there's a particular subject that you would like to see in a painting, let me know and we can discuss it. It may be a subject that I'm interesting in exploring on my own anyways. If that shared exploration results in a piece that works for you, I can sell that to you, and if not, I would offer that for sale to others. Doesn't hurt to ask.

Do you create AI art?

I do not use AI for my artwork. All of my work is 100% human handmade by me.

I have serious concerns about companies that steal original copyrighted artwork from artists, then feed that back to us as "AI art". So AI will never be a part of my art production.

Why should I buy art from you instead of a big box store?

You can certainly find lower priced art at large retailers. They often have a large selection of prints at relatively low prices.

But there are real benefits to purchasing art from a working artist like me...

  • You're purchasing a piece of quality original artwork. Big box stores mass produce their prints, using cheaper materials.
  • Fine art tends to appreciate in value around 7.5% per year, so buying fine art from a human artist is a financial investment that can grow over time. I intend to take my art practice AS FAR AS I CAN for the rest of my life, so my continued hard work should seriously increase the value of all artwork purchased from me, no matter when you purchased it.
  • You're showing your interest in and commitment to a more aesthetic life. We all love beautiful things; by filling our homes and our lives with beauty that resonates deeply with us, we increase our own artistic self-expression.
  • You're supporting the arts. Our world desperately needs art and beauty in it , now more than ever. You can help add more beauty to the world by filling your life with art.
  • There is significantly more texture and character in original artwork than in a print purchased from a big box store. My pieces are full of physical texture that you can see and feel, much more so than in a flat print.
  • You're buying a piece of me, a piece of my soul. My artwork is an authentic, intimate look inside my subconscious, a map of my personal journey in this world. That comes through in my art, more so than in a generic print.
